Job Descriptions :
Position Summary:
The QA Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the testing processes for all EDISaas project ensuring quality and compliance. This role will lead the testing of EDI interfaces and integrations, including data mapping, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration between internal systems and trading partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the EDI testing team, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain testing strategies, plans, and procedures for EDI systems and applications.
- Ensure comprehensive testing of EDI solutions, including functional, integration, performance, and regression testing.
- Review and validate EDI mappings, business rules, and transaction sets to ensure they meet specified requirements.
- Identify and track defects, provide root cause analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Monitor and report testing progress, risks, issues, metrics and forecasts to accounts, vendors, client leadership
- Ensure that EDI testing adheres to company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to team members and other stakeholders on EDI testing procedures and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in EDI testing or quality assurance in an enterprise-level environment.
- 12+ years of Health Care Industry Experience driving all phases and types including product testing, system integration, interface testing, user acceptance, performance, etc., applying industry leading EDI principles
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML and other common transaction sets.
- Familiarity with various EDI communication protocols (e.g., FTP, SFTP, AS2, HTTP/S, VANs).
- Medicaid/Medicare knowledge is preferrable
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
