About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS /DevOps Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS, strong proficiency in Terraform, and a solid background in Python. Additionally, a good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, as well as a sound knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Design: Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid solutions using AWS services that meet performance, security, scalability, and cost requirements.
  • Solution Development: Define architecture blueprints, integration patterns, and deployment models for enterprise-grade applications.
  • Migration & Modernization: Lead the migration of applications, databases, and workloads from on-premises or other cloud providers to AWS.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement AWS best practices for IAM, networking, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO).
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune AWS resources for high availability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Terraform: Use Terraform modules to create, modify, and manage infrastructure as code across various environments.
  • Docker & Kubernetes: Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of the infrastructure.
  • Python Programming: Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Documentation & Governance: Prepare architecture documentation, reference models, and design standards.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a technical advisor during pre-sales discussions and stakeholder presentations.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a DevOps.
  • AWS: Strong hands-on experience with various AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, EKS, ECR, KMS, Flink, DataSync, CloudFormation, etc).
  • Terraform: Proven experience in writing and maintaining Terraform modules for infrastructure automation.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Python: Proficient in Python with experience in developing automation scripts and tools.
  • Docker: Good knowledge of containerization and Docker.
  • Kubernetes: Experience with deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
  • CI/CD: Sound knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of networking conceptssecurity controls, and cost management in AWS.
  • Version Control: Proficient in using version control systems like Git.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Scripting: Knowledge of other scripting languages like Bash or Shell.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
