Job Summary:
- The Data + AI Partnership Leader will lead the strategy, development, and execution of our Data + AI partnerships program, focusing on identifying, building, and nurturing strategic alliances that drive growth. This includes developing partnerships with key data and AI technology platform companies (Databricks, OpenAI and Prophecy), integration partners, and resellers. The Data + AI Partnership Leader will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, Data and AI practices, and leadership teams to ensure that partnerships align with company objectives and deliver significant value to the business while directly reporting to the Chief Growth Officer. Role is based in the United States with remote / hybrid working basis and travel throughout the US on a regular, bi-weekly basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Analytics, Business or Marketing, or a related field & MBA preferred.
- 5 - 10+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or a related leadership role within a data and AI platform company. Preference for experience as a sales, forward deployed engineer or solution architect role at Databricks, Palantir or OpenAI.
- Proven track record of data and AI business development along with developing and managing successful strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and business expansion.
- Strong understanding of data and AI platform ecosystems, technology partnerships, and channel programs, with a demonstrated ability to generate proactive deals around client data and AI use cases.
- Excellent leadership and proactive business development skills, with experience building and leading high-performing business development and/or partnership teams.
- Demonstrate insane curiosity to learn, experiment and apply evolving data and AI technologies and platforms.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with partner program development, go-to-market strategy, and joint sales/marketing efforts.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and optimize partnership performance using KPIs and metrics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, practice, and executive teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client locations and industry events on a regular, bi-weekly basis throughout the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Strategy Development: Develop and execute the overall partnership strategy, identifying key partnership opportunities that align with the company s growth objectives and deliver measurable results. The role will develop, manage and execute partner and strategic advisory programs to drive proactive leads and opportunity generation to expand existing accounts (EN) and separately drive new client generation (NN) with target quarterly quota.
- Partner Ecosystem Expansion:Build and manage relationships with a diverse portfolio of strategic partners, including data and AI technology partners, integration partners, channel partners, and resellers, to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Revenue Generation: Drive data and AI partnerships that deliver leads, proactive opportunities and booked deals contributing to the company s revenue targets across all vertical business units. Directly own and ensure that partnerships deliver ROI through co-selling, lead generation, proactive opportunity generation, joint marketing initiatives, and integrations. The role will have direct responsibility for generating deal flow and driving deal bookings with leads, opportunity pipeline, revenue and margin quotas.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor offshore members of the partnerships team, ensuring effective execution of partnership initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with partners. Oversee hiring, training, and development of team members as the partnership program scales.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Directly responsible for generating leads and proactive opportunity deal flow while working closely with sales, marketing, and practice teams to align partnership initiatives with broader company goals. Coordinate with practice teams to ensure solution development, partner marketplace positioning and seamless integration with technology partners and maximize joint value.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring legal and financial terms align with the company s objectives. Manage partnership contracts, renewals, and negotiations.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Accountable to track, analyze, report and deliver on partnership performance results, using data and KPIs to measure success and make
informed decisions about the future direction of partnerships. Provide insights to senior leadership on the overall health and impact of the partner ecosystem.
- Market Insights & Competitive Landscape: Stay informed on industry trends in Data and AI, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, using this knowledge to identify new partnership opportunities and innovate the partnership strategy.
- Partner Enablement: Collaborate with partners to develop joint value propositions, co-marketing strategies, co-selling, account mapping and go-to-market plans. Ensure partners have the resources, tools, and support needed to be successful. The role is responsible for working directly with the partner field sales team to create and manage joint deal pursuits.
