Role: OIC Consultant
Location: Seattle, WA/Dallas, TX(Hybrid)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Integration & Reporting Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Service Bus (OSB), and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) to support a large-scale telecommunications ERP transformation program.
This role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations and reports across Oracle ERP Cloud and enterprise telecom systems, with deep involvement in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development (OSB / OIC)
Design, develop, and maintain real-time and batch integrations using Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Build integrations between Oracle ERP Cloud (SCM, Financials) and:
Telecom OSS/BSS platforms
Network inventory systems
Logistics partners and 3PLs
External vendors and suppliers
Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs, FTP/SFTP, and event-based integrations
Implement canonical data models, error handling, logging, and reprocessing mechanisms
Reporting & Document Development (BI Publisher)
Design and develop Oracle BI Publisher (BIP) reports and documents including:
Operational and transactional reports
Integration control and reconciliation reports
Business documents (Invoices, POs, ASN, shipping documents)
Develop and optimize SQL queries against Oracle Fusion tables and views
Configure report bursting, scheduling, and distribution
Troubleshoot BIP performance, data, and formatting issues
System Integration Testing (SIT)
Support SIT planning, execution, and defect resolution
Validate end-to-end data flows across ERP, middleware, and telecom systems
Analyze logs, payloads, and error messages across OSB, OIC, and Oracle ERP
Collaborate with functional consultants to resolve data and process issues
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Support business users during UAT by executing test scenarios
Perform root-cause analysis for failures and defects
Fix issues and support retesting activities
Provide clear technical explanations of integrations and reports to business stakeholders
Ensure UAT readiness and successful sign-off
Deployment & Production Support
Support cutover and go-live activities including:
Provide post-go-live hypercare and ongoing production support
Proactively identify and resolve performance or stability issues
Governance & Collaboration
Collaborate with:
Adhere to enterprise standards for security, logging, monitoring, and error handling
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer
Mentor junior developers and support delivery excellence
Required Qualifications
Technical Experience
7+ years of experience in Oracle middleware and reporting development
Strong hands-on experience with:
Proven experience integrating Oracle ERP Cloud with external systems
Strong SQL and data analysis skills (Oracle Fusion schema familiarity preferred)
Telecommunications Industry Experience
Testing & Delivery
Hands-on experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployments
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Experience working in large, multi-vendor system integration programs
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
