Memory Firmware Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Requirement/Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a firmware engineer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and data/configuration languages such as JSON and YAML.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in debugging complex system-level issues.

• Firmware development for complex hardware/software systems.
• Continuous integration and release management processes.
• System-level testing and debugging across multiple environments.
• Collaboration across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Memory, SERDES, or interface-related development environments.

• Implement and maintain complex CI systems using GitHub Actions.
• Manage integration with external codebases and maintain. upstream/downstream compatibility.
• Monitor CI health and resolve build and test failures.
• Create and manage firmware releases with thorough QA and validation.
• Assist with pull request conflict resolution and workflow optimization.
• Debug system-level tests across diverse environments.
• Support post-silicon lab bring-up and optimization for memory training and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with RTL, firmware, circuit, and architecture teams on interface development.

• Experience with SERDES, DDR, LPDDR, or memory controller design.
• Understanding of computer organization and architecture.
• Laboratory experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar equipment.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks.

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
