Job Description:

We are seeking a Pega Test Lead with strong experience in Life Insurance and Annuities to lead testing activities for Pega-based applications and ensure high-quality delivery across insurance business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the testing activities with development team.
• Review the test cases and work with automation team to identify automation scenarios.
• Review bugs and support the root cause analysis.

• Lead end-to-end testing efforts for Pega applications in Life & Annuities.
• Define test strategy, test plans, and test scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Manage and guide QA team members, including functional and automation testers.
• Ensure test coverage for Life & Annuities processes such as New Business, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, and Servicing.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Pega Developers, and Product Owners during all phases of the SDLC.
• Oversee UAT support, defect triage, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, quality standards, and best practices.
• Track testing progress, risks, and metrics; provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 3+ years as a Test Lead.
• Strong hands-on experience testing Pega BPM / Pega Platform applications.
• Solid domain expertise in Life Insurance and Annuities.
• Experience in functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, ALM, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pega certification (CSA or related testing certification).
• Experience with Pega Customer Service / Case Management frameworks.
• Exposure to test automation tools and Pega automation frameworks.
• Experience working with large insurance clients..
