Senior Payments Business Analyst (EDIFACT & ISO 20022 Mapping)
Location: Onsite. Jersey City, NJ
Primary focus: EDIFACT ISO 20022 Migration
Role Summary
We are looking for Senior Payments Business Analysts with strong EDIFACT payments expertise to support ISO 20022 and Hybrid Address migration activities across host-to-host and SWIFT-based channels.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze legacy EDIFACT payment messages (e.g., PAYMUL, PAXLST, CREMUL).
Define detailed field-level mappings from EDIFACT to ISO 20022 message structures.
Address structured vs. unstructured address translation and compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain mapping documents, data dictionaries, and transformation rules.
Collaborate with product, integration, and migration teams across regions.
Support testing, defect triage, and migration readiness activities.
Required Skills & Experience
8 12+ years of payments business analysis experience.
Deep hands-on experience with EDIFACT payment formats.
Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, CBPR+, and cross-border payments.
Experience with SWIFT and H2H integrations.
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
