The
Records Supervisor is a working supervisor who will manage employees and workloads for document room activities, including, but not limited to, scanning, document processing, data entry, paper and electronic file management, communication, training support, and quality control.
Responsibilities - Manage, guide, and direct the team that data enters and validates with accuracy, completeness of data, and integrity of PDF scanned images from all manifests
- Continually monitor and develop the processes to seek efficiencies and reduction of error rates, and ensure accuracy of all manifests submitted to the client
- Stay up-to-date with all process changes and modifications from the customer and efficiently disseminate changes to the team in a timely manner
- Oversee a team that produces an individual average of 70 manifests per clerk per day and ensure quotas and goals are met or exceeded daily.
- Monitor time and efficiency to effectively establish and maintain daily productivity
- Perform quality control reviews of the work performed and the condition of paper and electronic record-keeping systems, and develop process improvement as required

- Recommend and contribute to the development of continual process improvements to improve efficiency, accessibility, accuracy, etc.
- Organize and direct shelf-reading and other quality reviews in electronic record-keeping systems.
- Supervise operations and assigned staff; investigate and resolve employee disputes; train new staff; ensure positive customer service of staff.
- Ascertain and report issues, difficulties, and special needs to management.
- Work directly with staff to obtain the determination of the final disposition of information.
- Responsible for ensuring that the work performed is at a level of quality, schedule, and cost that is consistent with the expectations of the customer.
- Complete all required daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements independently and accurately.
- Follow, administer, and execute all tenets of the Chenega Employee Reference Guide to complete all required daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements independently.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate records management staff and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Chenega policies and applicable laws.
- Interface with management and personnel to coordinate and execute special projects and/or research with respect to special collections of records, their organization, identification, use, and tracking.
- Verify all file requestors to ensure that they are employees
- Plan, organize, direct, and guide the activities of team members.
- Manage team member timecards, performance evaluations, and participate in the hiring and termination process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a service-related area or production environment
- 1+ year of experience in a supervisory or team leading role
- Some experience with data and reporting
- Background Check
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Prior military experience in personnel or documentation management is a plus
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to correspond with professional staff and interact tactfully with Government staff.
- Ability to read and understand complex sets of procedures and other documentation.
- Applicants must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment.
- Work well under pressure and stressful situations; exhibit emotional control.
- Strong interpersonal, conflict management, and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Ability to maneuver through all facets of managing people, from directing, developing, guiding, resolving, and actively participating in the daily occurrences within the department.
