.NET C# Developer

Provides computer project technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of computer systems used for financial, clinical and administrative systems.

Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner and in compliance with Departmental and Community First Health Plans policies and procedures.  

Maintains a good working relationship with co-workers and other Community First Health Plans staff.

Performs other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation form and in the Community First Health Plans policies and procedures.

Performs as a project leader on multiple projects simultaneously in the development of or enhancement of computer application systems.  Serves as a technical consultant to Systems Engineers, Computer Programmers and other organizational personnel for computer systems and work processes related to the use of application software and its support. (E, 10%)

Coordinates work tasks of personnel assigned to projects through the use of project management tools. (E, 10%)

Functions as a project team member according to the designated project team leader to assure a successful outcome for each project. (E, 10%)

Performs analysis, design, development/acquisition and implementation of applications used to address specific department needs. (E, 10%)

Tests and documents all program changes and enhancements and creates operational procedures and documentation of implemented systems. (E, 10%)

Provides thorough written status reports to management on all projects, incidents, issues and other tasks. (E, 5%)

Develops documentation for all healthcare disciplines to facilitate accuracy and quality of systems. (E, 5%)

Participates in the formulation and implementation of departmental programming standards, policies and procedures. (E, 5%)

Trains and assists users and Information Systems staff. (E, 5%)

Assumes technical on-call responsibility for assigned production systems. (E, 5%)

Presents technical and user documentation and briefing to management. (M, 5%)

Frequently interacts with vendors and assists Information Services management regarding specifications for purchase, implementation and maintenance. (M, 5%)

Analyzes and designs logical and physical data bases and coordinates data base development. (M, 5%)

Appraises existing and proposed systems to provide recommendations on storage, access and protection. (M, 5%)

Performs other related duties as may be requested, assigned or required. (M, 5%)

Six years of programming and system analysis experience is required.
