This is a REMOTE role with Travel. Client has 15 locations in the US and 5 International - must be able to travel.
The Job: Client is looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Fin. Solutions Architect to Design end-to-end solutions across core modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses,Procurement integration
Responsibilities:
- Lead the enterprise architecture for Oracle Fusion Financials ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Lead end-to-end Finance implementation and rollout activities, covering CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare at the onsite location.
- Design end-to-end solutions across core modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses,Procurement integration
- Define cross-functional architecture involving Procurement, Projects, SCM, and HCM as needed.
- Develop integration strategies using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and other middleware tools.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses, blueprint solution designs, and propose system enhancements.
- Deliverables:
- Serve as the lead architect on Fusion ERP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and transformations.
- Create and validate configurations, design documents, test plans, and deployment strategies.
- Oversee data conversion design, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration.
- Establish and enforce best practices for performance tuning, configuration management, and release management.
- Hands-on experience in Governance, Security and Compliance
- Well-versed in Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
- Support Continuious Improvement
Skills, and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience with Oracle with at least 5+ years focused on Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Deep functional and architectural knowledge of Fusion modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Procurement integration).
- Expertise in Fusion integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, ADFdi, OTBI, BI Publisher).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, enterprise financial processes, and reporting standards.
- Experience with large-scale ERP transformation or Cloud migration projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
- Oracle Cloud Financials Certification
- Experience with multi-pillar Oracle Cloud environments (Procurement, Projects, SCM, HCM).
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
Core Ownership (Primary)
- Accounts Payable (AP): PO-receipt-invoice matching behavior, Accrual clearing and variance handling (including IPV where applicable)
- Cost Accounting (Inventory & Accruals): Inventory valuation behavior, COGS recognition and variance explainability
- General Ledger (GL): Subledger to GL posting validation, Period-end visibility and close readiness
Finance Touchpoints (Secondary, Where Applicable)
- Fixed Assets (FA): Capitalization touchpoints driven by procurement or inventory events, Depreciation validation where assets are created from in-scope processes
- Cash Management (CM): Payment and clearing visibility related to AP processing, Bank reconciliation support where required for close validation
