Civil Engineering

We are looking to hire a Civil Engineering Candidate having the ability to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic. Experience in water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection is needed and experience in stormwater design and management is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate shall work on various aspects of civil engineering design, plan preparation, permitting and construction oversight while working in a project team environment.
• Planning, design, and construction management of infrastructure projects focusing on water and wastewater projects but could include other infrastructure projects. Projects may include the following: Wastewater Conveyance and Pump Stations; Water Supply; Water Distribution and Storage; Master planning services including hydraulic modeling, and more.
• Candidate would contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis; roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control.
• Prepare project design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other design software is a plus.
• Develop project specific detail drawings.
• Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
• Preparation of technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
• Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
• Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and or construction support.
• Project outlines, project initiation, project schedules, project executions, and project closeout.
• Interface with multi-disciplinary design teams. 

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• E.I.T./F.E. Certification is a must
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred but less experienced candidates will be considered.
• Experience on utility, drainage, and roadway projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Excellent technical writing skills
