Job Title: SDET Principal / Integration Architect
Location: Detroit, Michigan (Remote)
Duration – 10 months

Role Summary
This role serves as an Integration Architect and SDET Principal, requiring a unique blend of technical expertise in cloud platforms and modern system architecture. You will design and implement scalable, secure integrations between complex applications while ensuring high-quality results through automated testing and DevOps best practices. The position involves working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment to support both modern and legacy stacks.
Responsibilities
· Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable system architectures including microservices and event-driven patterns.
· Develop and maintain integrations between different systems using API-based, message-based, and file-based patterns.
· Utilize Google Cloud Platform services (Cloud Build, BigQuery, Secrets Manager) to manage cloud infrastructure and data.
· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Docker.
· Perform end-to-end, integration, and contract testing to ensure system reliability.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
· Troubleshoot complex technical issues across relational and NoSQL databases and networking protocols.
Required Skills
· Core Java: Master level (P5) with heavy emphasis on Spring Boot and Gradle.
· Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, IAM, Cloud Logging, Secrets Manager).
· Integration & APIs: Expertise in REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs; experience with Postman, Hoppscotch, and Rest Assured.
· Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform and Docker for containerization and orchestration.
· Testing Automation: Strong experience in Selenium, Browser developer tools, and Integration/Contract testing.
· DevOps: Experience with GitHub Actions and JFrog Artifactory.
Nice-to-Have Skills
· Python and JavaScript programming.
· Experience with messaging queues like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
· Familiarity with Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Sonarqube, Prometheus, or Grafana.
· Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
