Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior VP of Product and Technology in Scottsdale, AZ.
Summary:
The Senior Vice President of Product & Technology is a senior technical and strategic leader responsible for defining and executing the company's product and technology vision. This role drives innovation across hardware, software, and platform development to deliver scalable, market-driven solutions that strengthen the company's competitive position in both existing and emerging markets. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future of connected technologies and intelligent products serving global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and execute the long-term product and technology vision aligned with business goals and customer needs
* Establish strategic priorities and product roadmaps from concept through commercialization
* Translate market insights into differentiated, high-impact solutions in partnership with cross-functional leaders
* Guide disciplined investment in emerging technologies, balancing innovation with measurable business outcomes
* Build strategic technology partnerships to enhance capabilities and accelerate time to market
* Foster a culture of innovation grounded in customer insight and data-driven experimentation
* Identify and apply emerging technologies across connectivity, embedded systems, software architecture, and intelligent devices
* Lead a forward-looking R&D strategy focused on scalability, interoperability, and long-term platform evolution
* Provide executive oversight of end-to-end engineering across hardware, software, and systems integration
* Ensure robust design, validation, and release processes that drive quality, reliability, and speed
* Advance standardization and modular design to improve efficiency and reduce cost
* Champion engineering excellence through continuous improvement
* Lead cross-regional engineering initiatives across Asia and other key innovation centers
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; Master's degree ee preferred
* 10+ years of progressive experience in product creation, engineering, and technology management within connected devices, IoT, or advanced technology sectors
* Proven success in delivering complex, market-ready products integrating hardware, software, and connectivity technologies
* Deep technical expertise in embedded systems, wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, RF), and system integration
* Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, compliance, and quality standards
* Demonstrated ability to define engineering strategy, drive technical execution, and foster innovation across global teams
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and align across executive functions
* Global mindset with experience leading initiatives across diverse technical and cultural environments
* Willingness to travel up to 30%
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
