DataSync is immediately hiring for Sr SQL Server Database Administrator

Full time Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

Location Atlanta, GA

Work Arrangement- Hybrid

Interview Type - In Person Only

The Ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in Managing all aspects of physical database administration including schema management, security, setup, installations, upgrades, patches, backup and recovery, space management, performance tuning and capacity planning for SQL Server and Cloud Technology and governance.

Responsibilities

Hands on administrative experience with SQL Server RDBMS
Hands-on experience in managing backup, recovery and high availability scenarios
Hands on development and tuning of databases in SQL Server with Performance Tuning.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and SQL Server clustered environments. and Optimization and TSQL programming.
Hands on query experience with SQL and scripting skills
Strong knowledge and experience in Always-ON High Availability groups
Strong Knowledge and Experience in Migrations
SQL Server database space management/storage design and capacity planning according to best practices.
Working Knowledge of Cohesity Backup Appliance.
Working Knowledge of Cloud Technology and governance.
