Salesforce Marketing Cloud Lead Developer
NYC (Open for Remote also but candidate must be in EST time zone)
JD:
Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
Design and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (Email, SMS, Push, Web). Develop and maintain complex AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL scripts for dynamic content and personalization. Integrate SFMC with Salesforce CRM and other third-party systems using APIs and Automation Studio.
Oversee Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Audience Segmentation strategies. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
Mentor and guide junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.
Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and IT teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance for high-volume campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
Strong proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and HTML/CSS for email development.
Hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and API integrations.
Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud.
Knowledge of marketing best practices and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
