Senior Java Developer

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable applications. This role requires strong backend engineering experience, a solid understanding of modern Java frameworks, and the ability to collaborate across product, DevOps, and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using modern frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot).

• Build scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.

• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on system design and technical direction.

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Work closely with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and RESTful API design.

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).

• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
