Job Title: IT Project Manager
(Hybrid 3 days onsite per week; specific days flexible)- Must be local to: Charlotte, NC 28269

Responsible for managing multiple medium-sized projects and smaller ad hoc initiatives with critical regulatory-driven deadlines. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate follow-ups across multiple departments. The position is high-touch and collaborative, with initial responsibilities including administrative and day-to-day support to gain familiarity with team processes and workflows.

Previous experience in Compliance, Cybersecurity, or Audit environments is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple medium-sized projects and smaller ad hoc requests with critical due dates tied to regulatory commitments
• Coordinate matrixed resources across multiple business and support teams
• Facilitate meetings with business, IT, and Cyber teams to build consensus on issues and requirements
• Ensure new or modified requirements are documented and escalated appropriately
• Anticipate, document, and monitor project risks and issues
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including assumptions, decisions, risks, actions, and key events
• Serve as the single point of contact for all testing deliverables and clarify testing requirements
• Lead defect triage meetings and defect prioritization
• Ensure test scripts are updated to validate fixes during testing phases
• Apply structured project management methodologies effectively
• Plan, direct, and motivate project team members to achieve objectives
• Conduct effective meetings and presentations for stakeholders at various levels
• Negotiate with stakeholders to reach outcomes aligned with organizational needs
• Apply established project standards and change management processes consistently
• Adapt quickly and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree (4-year degree required)
• Proficiency to expert-level experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and human relations skills
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately in both written and verbal formats
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Compliance, Cybersecurity, or Regulatory-driven environments
• Audit experience
• Background managing testing phases, defect triage, and quality assurance processes
