Job Description:
The scope of work is to know SQL, Excel and Python to help us automate some reporting and processing. Any prior experience with Python integration with IBM Bluezone systems would be great.
Overview
We are seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to support key reporting and process-automation initiatives. This contractor will work closely with business and technical teams to streamline workflows, automate manual reporting, and enhance data accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong skills in Python, SQL, and Excel, with the ability to build automated data processes and tools. Experience integrating Python with IBM Bluezone is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, automate, and maintain operational and analytical reports using Python, SQL, and Excel.
- Build efficient automation workflows for recurring data processes and reporting tasks.
- Integrate Python scripts with legacy systems when needed, including potential automation within IBM Bluezone terminal environments.
- Utilize Python libraries (e.g., win32com.client) for system interactions and process automation.
- Troubleshoot, document, and optimize data scripts, queries, and reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during core Miami business hours (minimum 4-hour overlap).
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with automation tools such as win32com.client or similar libraries.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.
- Advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, formulas; macros a plus).
- Ability to analyze reporting requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working independently in a remote/offshore environment.

- Experience integrating Python with IBM Bluezone
