Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior FPGA Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of complex digital circuits and systems. This role requires deep expertise in VHDL-based FPGA development, system-level verification, and collaboration across hardware and software teams to deliver high performance, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of digital circuits and systems using VHDL.
• Program in VHDL to develop firmware used throughout the hardware design process.
• Verify and validate designs through simulation, testing, and system-level verification.
• Collaborate with system architects and hardware/software engineering teams to define requirements and technical solutions.
• Debug and optimize FPGA hardware/software interactions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and results.
• Plan and manage development schedules, milestones, and engineering resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of design methods, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 15 years of hands-on digital design experience with FPGA-based projects.
• Proven experience developing firmware for FPGA systems.
• Strong proficiency in VHDL and FPGA design tools (e.g., Xilinx, Altera/Intel).
• Experience with PCIe, Ethernet (1G/10G), TSN, and system-level design and verification.
• In-depth knowledge of FPGA architectures, high-speed digital design, and DO 254 certification processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Verilog, UVM, and embedded C/C++ designs.
