Job Description:
This remote contract role involves analyzing legacy applications and databases, interpreting code, and collaborating with stakeholders.
The position requires proficiency in database management systems and experience with legacy systems.
Candidates should be skilled in problem-solving and communication.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze existing legacy applications and underlying database logic.
Review and interpret code, stored procedures, and workflows.
Identify and document application logic, data flows, and business rules.
Assist the team in understanding current application functions end-to-end.
Provide recommendations related to migration risks and dependencies.

Qualifications
Strong experience with database management systems and development.
Hands-on experience with application development as a backend engineer.
Ability to work with and understand legacy systems and older codebases.
Experience analyzing undocumented or lightly documented applications.
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
