Endpoint Security Engineer

We re currently searching for a Sr. Endpoint Security Engineer (Contractor) to join our team as an Endpoint Security Engineer and play a key role in boosting our security operations and protecting client workstations! You'll work alongside 3 Windows engineers and 2 macOS engineers to make sure our endpoints are secure and compliant. This can be a remote based opportunity. Initial duration is 12 months.

Due to client restrictions we can only use W2 applicants, no 3rd parties or C2C is allowed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities using tools like Tenable, Axonius, and Jamf Pro
• Develop and deploy remediation scripts for Windows and macOS endpoints using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• Contribute to secure baseline configurations aligned with industry standards (NIST, CIS, DISA STIGs, etc.)
• Collaborate with the team to implement and document baseline configurations
• Provide reports on remediation effectiveness and endpoint compliance to leadership and stakeholders

What We Need:

• 5 years of experience in endpoint engineering and cybersecurity
• Hands-on expertise with SCCM, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Tenable a must
• Proficiency in automation scripting and secure coding practices
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CVE, CISA, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
