Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Duration: 6+ months
Job Description:
Act as the liaison between Business, Development and QA teams within the Scrum framework Collaborate with IT teams to understand current system states web services and data elements needed for business processes and user stories Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system design documents Partner with Developers to create screen mockups define data mappings and ensure alignment with business needs Participate actively in Agile ceremonies feature grooming sprint planning story sizing and retrospectives Ensure that Developers and QA have a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and acceptance criteria Review and validate test cases and scripts to confirm full coverage of user stories and business rules Support Salesforce SFDC development cycles ensuring compliance with internal governance architecture standards and data integrity Configure and customize Salesforce features including workflows dashboards reports and custom objects Manage user roles profiles and onboarding processes maintaining system security and documentation Perform root cause analysis for system issues and lead troubleshooting efforts for CRM and integration related challenges Develop customized reports and dashboards to provide business insights forecasts and performance tracking Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data identify trends and recommend system or process improvements Monitor third party vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with internal architecture and governance standards Support data analysis and SQL queries to validate data integrity and ensure accurate system outputs Provide operational support to internal sales and front office teams for Salesforce related inquiries and enhancements Stay informed about AppExchange solutions and recommend add ons to improve CRM functionality and efficiency Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or a related field.
4 years of hands on System Analysis or Application Development experience
3 years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments Proven experience writing and managing system requirements and user stories Strong understanding of data gathering mapping and analysis methodologies In depth knowledge of the Software System Development Life Cycle SDLC Experience developing and reviewing test plans cases and scripts Proven ability to serve as a Salesforce Subject Matter Expert SME family.
