Job Description ::

Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, has partnered with a leading Investment Bank in NYC to hire a Cybersecurity Consultant – Network, Data & Endpoint Security. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network defense, data protection, and endpoint security, with a proven track record of implementing robust cybersecurity controls in highly regulated, complex financial environments.

Responsibilities:

·  Implement, monitor, and improve cybersecurity controls across network, data, and endpoint security domains.

·  Drive initiatives in network defense, segmentation, IDS/IPS platforms, and security monitoring.

·  Ensure secure data handling and storage using encryption standards (SHA, AES, etc.) and PKI/certificate lifecycle management.

·  Lead efforts in enterprise key management and certificate authority systems.

·  Align security practices with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS) and industry best practices.

·  Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze threats, resolve incidents, and improve defenses.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·  5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a focus on network, data, and endpoint protection.

·  Strong knowledge of the OSI model, layered defense approaches, and endpoint protection technologies.

·  Experience with IDS/IPS, segmentation, monitoring tools, and advanced encryption technologies.

·  Familiarity with regulatory requirements and proven ability to implement compliant controls.

·  Problem-solving and analytical mindset, able to work independently and in collaborative teams.

·  Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, or vendor-specific PKI/Encryption certs) strongly preferred.
