Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Technician

Job Description:

Technical Skills Required

Must Have:

AV technology expertise in a professional setting
Desktop and laptop repair
Experience with laptop/desktop servers
Windows 10/11 proficiency

Nice to Have:

Customer-facing service experience
MAC operating system skills

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive AV support for meetings, conferences, and client presentations.
Take full ownership of onsite service activities, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Perform advanced maintenance and low-complexity installations on AV and computing equipment.
Offer technical feedback to improve equipment and processes.
Work collaboratively with team members to resolve systemic technical issues.
Monitor and report technical/process issues with recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
2-4 years of relevant technical experience
May require technical certification or associate degree
Strong familiarity with AV systems including Cisco Room Kits, audio DSPs, AV switches, DI's, AV extenders, and related cabling (XLR, DMX, cat-5/6, etc.)
