Job DescriptionA TEKsystems customer is seeking multiple Desktop Technicians to support a 22-floor workstation buildout in Jersey City. This project involves decommissioning existing workstations and rebuilding all desks throughout the building. Technicians will work under the direction of a Project Manager from Kings (Roger) and collaborate with bank personnel as needed.
Scope of Work- Decommission existing workstation setups across 22 floors
- Install and configure new workstation environments
- Set up dual-monitor configurations (no quad-monitor setups)
- Perform structured cable management to meet enterprise standards
- Ensure all desks are fully rebuilt and ready for end-users
- Follow PM direction and document completed work as required
Top Skills - Must Haves- Experience decommissioning workstations
- Experience setting up dual-monitor workstation environments
- Experience with cable management and workstation organization
- Ability to follow structured build-out processes across multiple floors
- Professional communication and ability to work with onsite PMs and bank staff
Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with financial-sector workstation standards
- Previous experience with multi-floor buildouts (e.g., 270 Park or similar projects)
- Basic troubleshooting of peripherals and workstation hardware
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Jersey City, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
