Cloud Engineers

Cloud Engineers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop, design, deploy, deliver cloud-native architecture, pipelines, scripts, repositories. Translate requirements into scalable and secure cloud solutions, provision and configure resources and infrastructure, and review availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery setups, system performance metrics, cost-savings opportunities, strategies, incident detection, triage. Integrate testing and deployment workflows, implement security best practices, data encryption. Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments, maintain compliance, set up observability tools and alerts, resolve system issues and outages, confer with developers and DevOps. Perform automation, performance tuning, cloud migration, automate infrastructure provisioning. Create reusable code modules and templates, implement autoscaling Maintain documentation, processes, and procedures. Create runbooks. Troubleshoot, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, formulate validation plans. Use Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Microservices, EC2, S3, Big Query, Cloud Storage, IaC, Terraform, Deployment Manager, CI/CD, AWS, Cloud Build, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Google Cloud Platform, IAM, Pulumi, Stackdriver, Argo CD, Prometheus, Grafana, SDLC, Oracle, Jboss, Docker, GitHub, SAS. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience performing deployment, configuration, automation, migration; developing scripts, repositories; reviewing requirements; implementing autoscaling; troubleshooting; using Microservices, EC2, S3, AWS, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Git, Oracle, Jboss. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $178,132 to $178,150 /yr.
