Summary

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior / Lead Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and scale distributed backend systems while ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability. Lead candidates will also provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Architecture

Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java & Spring Boot
Build high-performance RESTful APIs for enterprise-grade applications
Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
Design and optimize MongoDB schemas and queries for high-volume data

Leadership (Lead Role)

Lead technical design discussions and architecture decisions
Mentor and guide junior and senior developers
Review code to ensure quality, performance, and security standards
Collaborate with product, DevOps, QA, and business teams

System Quality & Performance

Ensure system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance
Handle production issues, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
Enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation

Required Qualifications

Strong expertise in Java (8+)
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot & Microservices
Strong knowledge of REST API design principles
Practical experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions)
Solid experience working with MongoDB
Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
