Senior Director of Product Development and MDM Transformation

The Senior Director of Product Development and Master Data Management is a key technology partner to the leadership - SVPs and VPs of Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Marketing. This role will lead innovation, project management, systems development and implementation, and support of all technology that enables these areas.
This leader will have excellent domain experience in these areas, as well as a proven success record of delivering business value and organizational transformation in a matrixed IT environment with reliance on offshore delivery partners and global teams. They will bring a wealth of experience in developing and delivering modern technology solutions, excellent vendor management skill, and have a proven track record of modernizing and transforming technology capabilities aligned to business process transformation. Experience with multiple MDM and PLM implementations is a huge plus.
This position will report directly to the Global Supply Chain Technology VP and will be a key member of the Global Technology Organization s leadership team. This leader is a key contributor to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy, while maintaining its alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.
Local (El Segundo) candidates are strongly preferred. Remote candidates are required to travel 50% - 75% (to corporate and other facilities as required). Relocation to Corporate in El Segundo, CA is recommended. For local candidates, onsite presence is needed.
Experience
- Experience: 15+ years of IT and technology experience in Product Development, Master Data Management, or a similar role, including a minimum of 8 years of IT leadership and strong people management experience in areas of responsibility and in similar roles (broad-based, senior level) within a comparably sized company.
- Experience in deploying multiple MDM and PLM implementations (Oracle Fusion and PTC Windchill preferred, or SAP, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle Agile, CAD systems, costing, planning, ecommerce, and B2B systems
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain or related areas plus related experience. A Masters degree/MBA is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and organization design and development.
- Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.
- Excellent leadership skills - lead, collaborate, facilitate, and negotiate as necessary.
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence, instill confidence and effect change to achieve common goals and demonstrate the business value of IT.
- Experience with product development and supply chain systems
- Experience with data governance, data platform and analytical tools especially within Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Experience with business analysis, solution design, development, testing, and implementation best practices.
- Proven experience in DTC and B2B.
- Proven experience in Retail and/or CPG.

- Acumen for IT budgeting and financial management for a department
- Strong vendor management and partner relations skills to identify and leverage resources internally and externally to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that support business objectives.
- Ability to make decisions and recommendations on complex issues and present to Senior Management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, both within your teams and as a trusted advisor to business partners during transformative systems change.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time and that employees are highly engaged and satisfied.
