Senior Program Manager to join our Federal Practice in the Washington, DC area. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary interface with federal customers at all levels, orchestrate complex program delivery across multiple teams, and drive innovative solutions that leverage modern technology and data-driven approaches. You will be empowered to make critical decisions while managing the full program lifecycle and ensuring program objectives align with federal mandates and organizational goals.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Customer Engagement - Interface directly with executive-level federal customers to understand policy requirements, regulatory constraints, and organizational bottlenecks
- Develop and execute comprehensive program strategies that address federal mandates and compliance requirements
- Champion innovative solutions and compelling narratives to secure stakeholder buy-in across all organizational levels
Program Delivery & Performance Management - Lead end-to-end program delivery, ensuring adherence to federal contracting requirements and the statement of work
- Implement robust project management methodologies, tools, and workflows to maximize program efficiency
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving blockers that impede program progress
- Establish standardized processes and deliverables that enhance program predictability and quality
Team Leadership & Development - Manage and mentor team leads responsible for individual delivery tracks
- Coach team members to enhance managerial capabilities and improve cross-team synchronization
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and high performance
- Coordinate dependencies and facilitate collaboration across multiple program teams
- Maintains a consistent pulse on team performance and morale, promoting a positive and effective work environment
Financial & Resource Management - Oversee contract financials and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Conduct ongoing business needs assessments and risk evaluations
Business Development & Growth - Identify and pursue strategic business development opportunities within the federal sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Support proposal development and capture activities for program expansion
Salary Range: $135,000 - $170,000
General Description of Benefits
Required Skills - U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 11+ years of program management experience in federal consulting environment
Desired Skills - Demonstrated experience leading a multi-modality biometric program from concept through deployment, including architecture design, data-pipeline implementation, and end-to-end system validation
- Proven track record of consulting federal clients across all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth
- Experience addressing federal policy constraints, regulatory requirements, and organizational challenges
- Demonstrated success in leading transformational change across large federal organizations
- Demonstrated success collaborating with other technical teams
- Strong strategic thinking and relationship management capabilities
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies commonly used in federal environments
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent)
- PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification
