SAP ABAP Technical Consultant SD/OTC

Role Overview

We seek a seasoned SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with deep functional knowledge of SD/OTC processes to design, develop, and support customizations in a fast-paced S/4HANA environment. Collaborate with business teams, functional consultants, and cross-platform developers to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP solutions including RICEFW objects, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and reports.
• Build SD/OTC developments: custom IDoc enhancements, pricing routines, user exits, BAdIs, delivery/billing enhancements, and interface programs.
• Support order management, shipping, delivery, billing/invoicing, credit/debit memos, returns, and RMA processes technically.
• Partner with SD/OTC functional consultants to convert business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Develop/maintain SAP integrations with non-SAP systems (CPI/BTP, middleware, APIs, EDI).
• Perform ABAP debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for complex objects.
• Create CDS views, OData services, and Fiori backend code (preferred).
• Handle production support, defect fixes, and root-cause analysis for OTC and inbound/outbound interfaces.
• Document technical specs aligned with SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years hands-on as SAP ABAP Technical Developer.

• Strong SD/OTC functional exposure and order-to-cash business flow expertise.

• Deep knowledge of enhancements: User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, VOFM/pricing routines, workflow triggers.

• Expertise in IDoc development (custom creation, mapping, partner profiles, troubleshooting).

• Proficiency in ABAP OO, performance tuning, ALV, RFC/BAPI/BADI.

• S/4HANA experience with CDS views and OData services highly preferred.

• Integration experience (EDI/Orderful, CPI/BTP, API-based) a plus.
