ECCO Select is seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Analyst to support a statewide initiative to modernize a financial management process using Oracle PeopleSoft technology. The Compliance Analyst will validate compliance-related business processes, confirm alignment with Florida and Federal regulations, and support agency readiness activities during this accelerated implementation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial business processes to ensure compliance with Florida statutes, Federal financial regulations, and statewide financial policies.
- Review agency workflows and validate that gating, approvals, internal controls, and role assignments comply with regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile financial business flows to confirm that system configuration meets required compliance standards.
- Create clear, detailed compliance documentation including audit trails, traceability reports, control mappings, and exception workflows.
- Produce compliance and readiness reports for project leadership, oversight bodies, and agency stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business, technical, and testing teams to address compliance risks, gaps, or misalignments.
- Support validation efforts associated with the upcoming implementation wave, ensuring readiness across people, processes, technology, and data.
- Communicate compliance findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Experience validating financial business processes for regulatory and statutory compliance.
- Ability to analyze and reconcile workflow designs for approval chains, separation of duties, and compliance gating.
- Strong skills in documentation, report-writing, and producing audit/traceability materials.
- Experience creating compliance-focused reports and maintaining traceability across requirements, controls, and workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP financial systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public-sector or state government compliance experience.
- Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft financial modules or similar ERP systems.
- Experience in internal controls, auditing, or financial regulatory analysis.
