Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CAD/BIM Manager to lead CAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts across a variety of projects, with a strong emphasis on either electrical or mechanical systems. This role will oversee BIM implementation, ensure compliance with client standards, and drive innovation in design coordination and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain BIM standards and workflows on projects.
- Assist with project setup using Revit and AutoCAD platforms.
- Create and modify Revit families, AutoCAD blocks, and other parametric objects.
- Troubleshoot project-related issues in AutoCAD/Revit.
- Conduct quality control checks on BIM models for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and processes.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to exchange BIM data.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with other BIM staff.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of relevant experience (mid-level).
- Strong knowledge of BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Dynamo).
- Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (e.g., IFC, COBie).
- Experience with parametric modeling and content creation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- High school diploma and relevant job experience or an associate degree.
- Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit or AutoCAD preferred.
