Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant

Job SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned SAP PP/QM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise across manufacturing and quality processes, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to lead implementations, enhancements, and support engagements in an onshore environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support SAP PP and QM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.Configure and optimize PP processes, including:Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers)Demand Management and MRPProduction Orders and Capacity PlanningConfigure and support QM processes, including:Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-Process, Final)Inspection Plans, Characteristics, and Results RecordingQuality Notifications and Defect ManagementIntegrate PP/QM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.Support UAT, cutover activities, defect resolution, and production support.Prepare and maintain functional documentation including BRDs, FSDs, configuration documents, and test scripts.Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior consultants.Participate in solution design reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications8 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.Experience with MRP, capacity planning, production execution, and quality inspections.Solid integration knowledge with MM, SD, and FI/CO.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proven experience working in onshore, client-facing roles in the US.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP S/4HANA PP/QM.Exposure to discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing environments.Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations.Knowledge of compliance and quality standards (ISO, FDA, GMP, etc.).Nice to HaveExperience with PP-PI or advanced planning tools.Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing or MES integration.Prior experience in regulated industries such as pharma, medical devices, or food manufacturing.
