Job#: 3017210 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Assistant to support our client's engineering management team with project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth project execution by organizing information, facilitating communication, and providing logistical support across engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities- Create, organize, and maintain project documentation, including engineering plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure all engineering documents are accurate, current, and easily accessible to team members.
- Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Prepare and distribute engineering communications such as meeting agendas, minutes, and status updates.
- Schedule meetings, site visits, and project-related events.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support timely completion of project milestones.
- Assist in monitoring budgets and expenses; help prepare financial reports and forecasts.
- Collect and analyze project data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare summary reports and recommendations based on data analysis.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (engineering degree preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in an engineering support or project coordination role.
Skills & Competencies- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of engineering activities and workflows.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and vendors.
