Job Description:
The Level 4 Juniper Route/Switch, WAN Edge, Wireless, and MIST Solutioning Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced network solutions with a focus on Juniper technologies. This role requires deep expertise in Juniper route/switch, WAN edge, wireless, and MIST, as well as knowledge of Cisco technologies. The engineer will lead design and delivery projects, work closely with clients to meet complex requirements, and mentor less experienced engineers on the team. The role emphasizes solution architecture and consulting clients on best practices to ensure optimal network performance and scalability.
Job Profile Summary:
Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for client s purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Works directly with clients to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution. Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements. May work directly with clients on-site or provide installation support remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy advanced network solutions with a focus on Juniper route/switch, WAN edge, wireless, and MIST technologies.
- Develop and implement network policies and configurations for Juniper environments.
- Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and maintenance of Juniper network components such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Provide architectural guidance and consulting to clients on best practices for network design and implementation.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews of client networks to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Interact with clients on-site and remotely to meet highly complex requirements of a solution.
- Delegate lower complexity tasks to engineers and assume responsibility for coordinating the activities of junior engineers.
- Lead by example and monitor the quality of engineers' work, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Write reports and proposals, and complete and maintain project documentation.
- Recommend improvements to standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes.
- Act as a coach and mentor to Implementation Engineers.
- Participate in highly complex design work, providing input to the design.
- Work independently and take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.
- Monitor the quality of work produced by Engineers and Technicians and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Engage vendors for priority escalations or bugs found during deployments.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.

Academic Qualification and Certifications:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
- Professional level certification in Juniper technologies such as JNCIE, JNCIP, etc.
- Knowledge of Cisco technologies and relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, etc.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 7 10 years of experience leading design and delivery for professional services.
- Extended work experience in technical implementation engineering, specific to Juniper technologies.
- Extended experience engaging with clients and conducting presentations.
- Extended report writing experience.
- Extended experience in networking technologies such as routing, switching, WAN edge, wireless, and MIST.
- Extended experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting.
