Job Title: RF Layout Engineer

Location: Austin, TX_Onsite
Job Type:12 months plus contract only on w2

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF Layout Engineer to develop full-custom layouts, ensure design compliance, and collaborate with circuit teams on high-performance IC products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop full-custom Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF layouts (block & top level)

• Ensure layout matching, symmetry, shielding, isolation, and reliability

• Perform DRC/LVS/ERC/antenna checks and resolve violations

• Work closely with circuit designers to address layout issues and meet deadlines

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years in Analog/Mixed-Signal/RF layout design

• Hands-on with Cadence Virtuoso (XL/GXL)

• Experience with Calibre for physical verification

• Experience with PDKs including multi-patterning rules

• Experience in advanced nodes (5nm or below)

• RF layout experience including:

  • High-frequency routing

  • Guard rings, shielding, EM coupling

  • RF blocks such as Mixers, LNAs, VCOs, PAs

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to PLL, VGA, ADC, DAC, SerDes, Bandgap, LDO, etc.

• SKILL scripting for layout automation
