Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Technical Consultant to join our team, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA data conversion and migration initiatives. The consultant will provide deep technical expertise across SAP S/4-based applications, working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to design and execute high-quality data migration solutions.
This role is responsible for leading data migration strategy, mapping, business rules definition, and conversion execution, leveraging SAP standard tools and custom frameworks, while integrating SAP data objects with OnCoor s cloud-based data platform.
Responsibilities:
- Provide deep technical and functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA data conversion, including master, transactional, and reference data (e.g., Asset Master, Plan-to-Produce / Production Planning).
- Lead and execute data migration activities using SAP Data Migration Cockpit, and support legacy approaches such as LSMW where applicable.
- Gather and analyze data migration requirements; perform data mapping and transformation design in collaboration with business and functional teams.
- Define and implement SAP standard and custom business rules for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy data conversion solutions using ABAP and SAP migration frameworks.
- Provide functional and technical guidance for integrating SAP information objects with OnCoor s cloud-based data platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data conversion and technical issues across environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across SAP, data, and integration architectures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in SAP technical and/or functional consulting.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration and conversion.
Expertise in SAP Data Migration Cockpit, ABAP, and related functional configuration.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as Asset Master and Plan-to-Produce / Production Planning.
Experience defining data mapping, transformation rules, and data reconciliation strategies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working directly with business stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Agile methodologies
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker
Certification in SAP technologies
