Oracle Financials Developer

Introduction:

We are seeking a qualified Oracle Financials Developer to join our team in O'Fallon, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have expertise in General Ledger, Oracle, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, and Purchasing.

Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, secure, modular, functional, and testable code
• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery for engineering efforts spanning 1-2 teams
• Contribute to all parts of the software's development including design, development, documentation, and testing
• Take ownership of team's software and understand maintenance characteristics, runtime properties, and dependencies
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment
• Ensure methodology compliance and manage resolutions, reporting to management when necessary
• Ensure timely and accurate communication at all levels
• Monitor and manage adherence to estimates

Requirements:

Must have Skills/Attributes: General Ledger, Oracle, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, Purchasing, SQL

Preferred Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field

Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

• Experience enhancing and supporting Oracle Financials modules
• Experience with SCM and Financial Modules
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Unix shell scripting
• Experience in delivering secure solutions in the Financial services sector
• Experience with Version Control (PVCS/BitBucket)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with XP, TDD, and BDD in the software development processes

Desired Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

• Previous experience or knowledge of Hyperion budgeting and forecasting application
• Payments expertise and experience with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, NoSQL databases)
• Experience with micro-service design, CI/CD, API design, and distributed systems operations
