Job Description :
8+ years (with at least 3+ years in DBT and modern data stack)
We are seeking a hands-on DBT Architect with deep expertise in data modeling and transformation using DBT, strong design-level thinking, and the ability to analyze existing codebases to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
The ideal candidate will not only implement but also architect solutions that address current pain points and meet evolving business expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and implement DBT-based data transformation frameworks aligned with business needs.
* Review existing DBT models and pipelines, identify gaps, and redesign for scalability and performance.
* Build and optimize DBT models, macros, and packages.
* Ensure best practices in modularity, testing, and documentation.
* Work with orchestration tools (Airflow, Python scripts, or similar) to manage workflows.
* Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless integration with upstream/downstream systems.
* Optimize queries and transformations for Snowflake.
* Implement data quality checks and governance standards within DBT.
