Job Title: MS Fabric Data Platform Architect
Location : Seattle, WA (3 days onsite hybrid)
Experience: 10+ years (preferred Microsoft ecosystem experience)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Data Platform Architect with strong hands-on experience in Azure data engineering. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and governing modern analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric while leveraging deep expertise across Azure data services. Prior experience working at Microsoft or on large Microsoft enterprise programs is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect end-to-end data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Factory, Power BI)
• Lead Azure-based data engineering solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS, Databricks, and related services
• Define scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration patterns (batch and near real-time)
• Establish data modeling, semantic layer, security, and governance best practices
• Enable analytics, BI, and AI/ML use cases on Fabric and Azure
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architecture
• Provide architectural guidance, reviews, and mentoring to engineering teams
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric architecture and components
• Deep understanding of Azure data engineering stack (ADF, Synapse, ADLS, Databricks)
• Experience with data modeling, lakehouse architectures, and semantic layers
• Strong SQL, Python, and data pipeline design skills
• Experience with enterprise-scale analytics and BI platforms
