An ideal candidate has a PhD degree in organic chemistry or a related field (or Masters with 3 years experience) with experience in bioconjugation and/or antibody drug conjugate (Client) development. The candidate will be proficient in standard organic characterization techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, Q-NMR) as well as familiarity with bioanalytical techniques used for bioconjugation reaction monitoring/characterization (e.g. CE-SDS, icIEF, soloVPE, etc.). The candidate will work as part of a drug development team with a range of responsibilities including: conjugation reaction development, characterization of reaction profiles and kinetics studies, impurity and residuals removal (e.g. ultrafiltration/diafiltration) and commercial process development activities. The candidate will maintain laboratory notebooks and computer files, participate in group and project meetings. The candidate will work in a team environment collaborating with various colleagues in process development including process chemists and analytical chemists.

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in organic chemistry or a related field:
2 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry with experience in bioconjugation and/or ADCs
Knowledge of bioconjugation/Client processes and analysis
Competent in analytical techniques including NMR, HPLC and Mass Spec
Familiarity with techniques for analyzing bioconjugates (e.g. SEC, HIC, etc.)
Experience in reviewing and interpreting analytical data
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
Knowledge of basic software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
