Summary
Responsibilities:
- : Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines and applications within the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN).
- : Create efficient MapReduce jobs, complex ETL workflows, and scripts using Hive, Pig, and Spark for large datasets.
- : Implement data loading strategies using tools like Sqoop and Flume to pull data from various sources.
- : Provide hands-on guidance, mentor junior developers, and lead technical discussions for big data solutions.
- : Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize Hadoop performance for scalability and efficiency.
- : Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- : Ensure data privacy and security within Hadoop clusters, implementing best practices.
- : Drive adoption of new technologies and contribute to architectural roadmaps.
- Experience: 10+ years in software development, with significant hands-on experience in the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Core Hadoop: Deep knowledge of HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, Hive, Pig, HBase, and Spark.
- Programming: Strong Java and Python skills, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Big Data Tools: Proficiency with Sqoop, Flume, and monitoring tools like Splunk.
- Databases: Strong SQL skills for complex data extraction.
- Cloud: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile development practices.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
