Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join a growing legal team in a remote capacity. This role is well suited for attorneys with 0 3 years of experience in bankruptcy, collections, or civil litigation who are licensed to practice in Virginia.
The position offers hands-on exposure to court proceedings, case management, and client advisory work while providing the flexibility of remote work within designated Virginia jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in bankruptcy, collections, and civil litigation matters.
Attend court proceedings and ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support effective legal strategies.
Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines efficiently.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality client service.
Required Qualifications
0 3 years of experience in bankruptcy, collections, or civil litigation.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Virginia bar license in good standing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Admission in additional states within the firm s footprint (GA, SC, TN, FL, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage.
Prior experience attending court proceedings independently.
Proven ability to work remotely while maintaining productivity, responsiveness, and collaboration.
