Design Engineer
Introduction:
This position as a Design Engineer will involve working on PCB ECAD design using Cadence Allegro software. The role requires expertise in routing high-speed PCBs, knowledge of various interfaces such as SATA, USB, and Ethernet, and a strong background in electrical engineering. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing PCB layouts, conducting thorough testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in PCB ECAD design using Cadence Allegro V17.2 / 17.4 (Mandatory)
- Knowledge in PCB ECAD & Library using Cadence Allegro ECAD tool
- Experience in Constraints editor System
- Strong design knowledge from schematics to Gerber
- Experience in Digital, Analog & Mixed signal designs
- Knowledge on Routing High-speed PCB, Power plane, Creepages and clearance, length matching
- Knowledge on High-speed interfaces such as SATA, DDR4, DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, PMIC, etc
- Knowledge on RF boards
- PCB Placement, Constraint settings, Layer stackup, Power planes
- Electrical nets routing and length matching
- Documentation and Gerber release
- Interaction with customers and cross-functional teams
- Guide and support team members
- Good knowledge in industry standards and manufacturing
