Summary

Our client in the insurance sector is seeking an Azure Developer with strong IAM migration experience, specifically migrating identity platforms from Salesforce IAM to Azure ENTRA External.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring deep expertise in IAM technologies, cloud security, and migration strategy execution. The developer will collaborate with business, security, and IT stakeholders while designing and delivering a secure, scalable identity platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the migration of the IAM platform from Salesforce IAM ? Azure ENTRA External
Design and execute secure, scalable IAM architecture
Integrate Azure ENTRA External with applications, systems, and third-party services
Implement best practices for identity governance, MFA, conditional access, and access control
Collaborate with business/security/IT teams on requirements and progress updates
Troubleshoot complex IAM issues throughout the migration
Maintain technical documentation (architecture, configurations, processes)

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Azure ENTRA External, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Conditional Access, Identity Governance
Hands-on experience with Salesforce IAM and its integration points
Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, OpenID Connect (OIDC)
Proven IAM migration experience - ideally Salesforce ? Azure
Familiarity with Zero Trust, RBAC, and cloud security best practices
Strong communication and ability to manage project timelines
