FS Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an FS Data Engineer in Westlake, TX.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Master's degree in Computer Science with 3+ years (or closely related field)
* Core Java and J2EE (3-5 years of experience), Dropwizard or Spring Framework (including Spring Boot) in developing RESTful services
* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud development, deployment and application management
* Strong experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks
* Demonstrated experience developing, debugging and tuning complex SQL statements, and writing PL/SQL
* Strong expertise in SQL is a must
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
* Familiarity with tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter, Bruno
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Passionate about business-driven development and delivering customer-centric solutions
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across remote and international teams
* Obsessed with creating the best end-to-end customer experience
* Takes ownership and accountability for outcomes and results
* Active participation in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment
* Ability to validate, monitor, and solve issues during development, testing, or in production

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
