We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our Excellerate team in the Healthcare industry. This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, innovative environment where your contributions directly impact the quality of healthcare services. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for facilitating and implementing manufacturing improvements, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and driving efficiency, safety, and quality in our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with production personnel to identify and rectify any safety issues.
- Develop and maintain facility layouts using AutoCAD.
- Justify and procure capital equipment and tooling as necessary.
- Coordinate facility and equipment preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations applicable to our business.
- Assist in developing capacity and contingency plans for Excellerate.
- Drive efficiency, safety, delivery, and quality improvements using 80/20 and MRD (Market Rate of Demand) strategies.
- Facilitate employee improvement projects and administer business unit and company programs.
- Conduct time studies to determine costing of assemblies.
- Develop or optimize processes to meet quality, cost, and efficiency requirements.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Excellent understanding of assembly and operations.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations applicable to the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency, safety, delivery, and quality improvements.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well both in a team and individually.
- Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours to meet business needs.
