Job Description:

  • 60 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy administration and maintenance for Workers' Compensation Insurance.

  • 60 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to Risk Control and Premium Audit.

  • 60 months experience in Oracle development using PL/SQL in the following: triggers, functions, stored procedures, packages, view, cursor, file processing, JSON processing, XML processing, advanced query optimization, and database design and implementation.

  • 60 months experience as a .Net application developer using Microsoft TFS, Azure DevOps and Visual Studio 2010 or newer

  • 60 months programming experience in MS .NET MVC/Web API and Oracle .

  • 60 months experience with web browser application development using Javascript, CSS, JSON, XML, Xslt, Html, AJAX and BootStrap.

  • 24 months experience with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas)

Detailed Job Description: (1) Software Technology Upgrade from VB6.0 to .NetCore for PAD Applications - Rewrite the PAD applications to use modern technology to increase the efficiency of business processes. This project will be implemented in 2 phases. Phase 1 - Re-write of VB 6.0 components. Phase 2 - Re-write of Server applications (2) iPAM (Integrated Policy Administration and Maintenance) System - In-house developed web application for the administration and maintenance of a WC policy record during its life cycle. It consists of the following main modules Declaration, Entity, Location, Endorsement, Broker, Change of Interest, Contacts, Cancellation and Reinstatement, and Report. Tasks include production fixes and enhancements including those arisen from Billing Applications Modernization - Software Technology Upgrade to .Net Core and Policy Technology Modernization - Implementation of Policy Center projects The consultant will adhere to NYSIF's application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.
