OUR BANK - The Federal Reserve is the central bank of the United States and is one of the most influential, trusted, and prestigious financial organizations. It consists of twelve Reserve Banks located around the country and the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta territory covers the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which includes Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, and portions of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Atlanta Fed and the other Reserve Banks play an important part in all three of the Fed's functions: monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and the operation of a nationwide payment system.

SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT:The Supervision and Regulation Regional Banking Organization team is seeking a college level intern to assist with supervisory programs. In addition to learning about S&R and RBO supervisory program, the intern will be tasked with various internal team projects, including:
- Data analysis and visualization of issues management,
- Update templates and process improvements
- Participate in continuous monitoring activities
- Exam activities (if time permits)
QUALIFICATIONS:- Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program through the duration of the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in academically rigorous curriculum.
- Must be committed to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
- Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau preferred
PREFERRED MAJORS:- Finance
- Accounting
- Risk Management
- Economics
CORE COMPETENCIES:- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
- Great work ethic and detail oriented
- Comfortable working across time zones to complete projects in a timely manner
