Systems Integration Engineer - Prototype Build

Responsibilities
Support the assembly and verification of Stryker and Abrams prototype builds.
Keep the team lead informed on build and verification status.
Monitor Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) maturity and release plan execution.
Utilize and update the prototype build BOM to reflect accurate part and assembly tracking.
Write Material Requests (MRs) for required parts and components.
Track material receipts and resolve late delivery issues.
Manage the status of fabrication and assembly build plans.
Disposition obsolete or replaced parts as directed by USG.
Serve as the primary interface between subsystem engineers and the prototype shop.
Generate Engineering Problem Reports (EPRs) to document fabrication, installation, or functionality issues.
Foster a cohesive and collaborative build environment among engineers and mechanics.
Work overtime and occasional second shifts as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME required)
Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude - capable of physically building, fixing, and understanding assemblies
Prior prototype build, assembly, or testing experience preferred
Experience with NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar CAD tools
Familiarity with Teamcenter or Vismockup preferred
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
