POSITION OVERVIEW
As a RPGLE Architect your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Architect and develop RPG-based applications.
- Optimize performance of RPG applications and DB2 database interactions.
- Extensive experience in RPG programming and AS/400 systems.
- Deep understanding of business processes within the HVAC distribution industry.
- Exceptional customer focus and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate RPGLE Architect who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal RPGLE Architect would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following: - RPG IV (ILE RPG), RPG Free, CL, SQL
- DB2 database knowledge
- AS/400 (IBM i) systems experience
- IT system architecture and design
- Networking, integration, and performance optimization
